BODEMI® COUTURE embraces the lifestyle of children through its innovative designs in couture apparel. Timeless comfort, chic simplicity, and hopeful discoveries are the key ingredients in our products. We find inspiration in the everyday imaginations and hopes of children, and want you and your child to feel the impact of this in our products. BODEMI® COUTURE started when fashion forward designer mom, Boren Lon tossed around some ideas with long time friends Deborah Bernat and Mimi Poon to bring fashionable yet functional comfort, and stylish yet sensible organization, to raising her three active little boys. As a working mother, the diaper bag was her briefcase, the children's playroom was her work studio and play dates with the kids were always on the schedule. Boren Lon was born in Cambodia, and raised in the United States. She studied at the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisiénne in Paris, France. Her passion for couture led her to internships with French fashion icons, where she assisted with the high end designs of Emmanuel Ungaro and the catwalks of Christian Dior. Ms. Lon returned to the US to launch Boren Couture in 2002. Her work has made appearances in prominent children's magazines and runways. All fabrics are carefully selected for BODEMI® COUTURE products, hand-sewn in the USA to the finest detail, and kid tested for comfort and durability.
