Teens for the Cure - Tickled Pink 2008

On Friday April 4th 2008, "Teen for the Cure's Tickled Pink! took place at the luminous bi-level studio of Designer Diane von Furstenberg. Hundreds of well heeled mothers and daughters made their way to the Meat Packing District studio to partake and support the 4th annual installment of Tickled Pink! an event that is to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure...
The south end of the cavernous space held tables and table of items up for auction, standouts were a hairstyling package (haircut, color and blow dry) by Donna Moretti and a custom made Bodemi dress (see photo at left). Raffle tickets were also available at $20,$50, and $100 each.

Madison Pettis Floats Down the Red Carpet in a Teal Chiffon Dress by BODEMI™ at the NAACP Image Awards
Portland, ME February 22, 2008 - Madison Pettis wore a teal chiffon dress made exclusively for her by BODEMI™ to the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards on February 14th, where Cory in the House was nominated for Best Children's Program. Madison plays loveable Sophie Martinez on the popular Disney show, and recently starred along side Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kyra Sedgwick in the movie, The Game Plan.

Small in Number, Big in Impact

Lon's collection is filled with lots of bright cotton prints, flounced-skirted specialty dresses and unique gift items. It's the easy shapes and clever use of detail seen in her solid linen group though, that caught my eye.
Outstanding pieces: Cut loose and comfortable with contrasting serged-edges, the "Athena" makes an ideal play or party piece.
